I went at this pub on my last night on holiday at the Tal y Don. The pub was like an adventure. Food here was like food at home and very polite service.

This is a great pub but we had a really disappointing meal. I hope it was a one off and I'm still rating them highly as it's a lovely venue and friendly staff. Hope the food gets back to the usual standards.

Only popped in for a quick drink, we got some parmesan chips and macaroni cheese bites to pick on, food was quick and really nice. We were lucky to get a window table straight away but people were getting turned away, so I would book a table to avoid disappointment. Staff were really friendly, highly recommend visiting.

Lovely pub serving pub staple food but dont very well and to a very high standard. The Welsh fillet steak was sublime, and far from most tough pub steaks! Would definately return.

Fitted us in last minute for food, staff very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, and the food was excellent!
You do really need to book for dinner, as it gets fully booked quickly.

I was in a group of ten so booked a table for lunch, witch is a good idea as this place is very popular, service and food was very great and there was no complaints from anyone.
