Friendly staff. Room number 3 was ok but tired and toilet with partition for shower felt very tight for space. No filter coffee only instant, which for me was a disappointment. Lovely location with plenty of car park spaces.

Our second and I am afraid last visit. We checked in at approximately 4pm only to be told they were not serving meals that evening. When we asked if there were any takeaways that we could order food to be delivered we were told no one delivers locally! After a long drive we just wanted to relax and have a meal at the hotel but we resorted to walking into town to get fish and chips.
Next morning (Friday) we were up looking forward to breakfast, we went down at 8am only to be told "kitchen opens at 8.30". To cut a long story short we returned at lunch time only to be told "we are not doing food at lunch times!! Friday evening we were lucky enough to get a meal at the hotel which I could not fault. It would have been nice to have been notified of restricted kitchen opening times prior to arrival or at least leaving leaving some sort of info in the rooms as a last resort. Unlike our first visit I regret to say customer service at this hotel was sorely lacking.
