Was lucky to stumble upon this restaurant while we were visiting Barmouth for the day. Not a big restaurant but the interior was elegantly decorated with bossa nova playing in the background. I had duck pate for starters and it was up to standard. My partner had poached egg, Stilton and mushrooms which was incredible! We also had rack of lamb which was very tender. Definitely worth visiting again!

Went for a meal Saturday night, this place did not disappoint. The prawn starter was incredible. The Wellington was incredible. The Bravas was incredible, the staff were superb ? I genuinely cannot wait to visit again

Arrived on a wet windy evening, we had booked the previous evening. The lady front of house asked for our details, looking round the room it was obvious all tables were occupied. She asked the table nearest to us what time they had booked for, he informed her he had a email confirmation.
She then said to us there must have been a cockup ( her exact words )
We were left with no option but to leave out into the rain after traveling some distance.
I would suggest if you are foolish enough to book here, get a written confirmation.
eg the room is extremely small, not much room to move ( sardine can springs to mind ) had to give 1 star to get this published.

We had a wonderful evening meal here. My son and I had melt in the mouth steaks and our companion had rack of lamb which she very much enjoyed. Veggies came in a separate dish and were perfectly cooked. Not hard and not over done. I had creme brulee for dessert, son had cheesecake, and our 3rd had grilled pineapple. All 3 were delicious.
Service was excellent, not hovering but around when needed.
A wonderful relaxed meal. Definitely a highlight of our stay. Thank you.

Fantastic birthday meal - absolutely delicious food, beautifully prepared, cooked and served, a wonderful menu with loads of choice, a true Bistro vibe. We live locally and it?s absolutely our very favourite place to eat out. We took our 1 year old (and his high chair) and they couldn?t have been kinder or more accommodating. Thank you so much for a wonderful celebration meal - we will of course be back!
