I experienced extremely poor customer service at the Bangor, Gwynedd branch of Lloyds. The bank mistakenly thought I had not made a payment, leading to my account being blocked. They instructed me to visit the branch with my ID, a measure I understood was for my protection. However, the service I received at the branch was disappointing. After waiting for a while, a staff member confidently but incorrectly advised me to call customer service on my mobile and offered to speak on my behalf. Knowing that customer service would only communicate directly with me, the account holder, I found this suggestion impractical. Reluctantly, I made the call, only to be told by the staff member that she was now attending to another customer and couldn't speak to customer service, instructing me to ask them to wait. Furthermore, customer service informed me that the bank representative should contact them using the branch's phone, complicating the situation further. After the initial customer service representative disconnected the call, the staff member who had been assisting the other customer till now approached me to use my phone to speak to them as the Queen was still thinking that the customer service is waiting for her till now. I informed her that they had hung up, indicating a preference for her to call from the branch's official line. At this point, another employee, who appeared to be in a supervisory role, joined the situation. I recounted the events to her, and she pointed out to the initial staff member that it was inappropriate to ask customers to use their personal phones for such matters, a guideline the initial staff member seemed to resist acknowledging. Ultimately, I had to call customer service again using my phone, only for them to reaffirm their stance. They insisted that the staff member contact them from the branch's official number, challenging the approach of the overconfident staff member. Eventually, the staff member, took it upon herself to call customer service directly from the branch's phone line. At her request, acting in her official capacity as a branch employee, my account was finally unblocked. I am immensely grateful to the "Queen" for her significant assistance in resolving this issue!

wanted a statement had to endure the cashier with long blond hair moaning about 30min breaks and how there there all day long bla bla blaa all the while im stood in front of her waiting for her to activate the card reader to get my statements and banking done very unprofessional to busy moaning to the other cashier to do her bloody job properly and gave me wrong statements awful.

llyods bank is best in the uk and their staff is so good, specially laura is very good.keep your first account with llyods bank.

When I go there I always get nice great service at all times, also covid rules are 100% there in standards by law to keep us all safe. Also had a proplem with a transaction I wasn't sure about and this woman called Jackie was very helpful at bangor branch,,, thank you Jackie you are a credit to the company and your work skills are out of this world))) very good staff and team work and good quality service to staff)))being there yet again and had to wait few minutes as man behind counter was busy,, but the service I received was nice and polite and very high standard in customer service as I should know I passed my customer service course twice in the past,, his name was Leon and I wish to say he is a great asset to the company,,, many thanks Lloyd's.. Went there 1.8.2021 and great service and helpful at all times,, as for this person saying about statements,, well rules are for all and we're would we be without them,, also them 2 people were sorting a work matters out as dosent cost nothing to wait a minute does it,, so I give Lloyd's the best bank achievement award,, as really they do well under rules and covid rules to help us...

Visited bank today and could not get more than 3 months statement from bank branch because its their rule. Very poor service. I needed 6 months statement.

Had to fix a few things with a payment, which needed confirmation from hq. The member of staff was very helpful and made sure I was helped as soon as possible, making multiple calls to colleagues when things were not moving along quick enough.
