We only stayed in the restaurant/bar and can highly recommend the team and food: We came late, and with two dogs, but were welcomed super friendly and invited to sit in the bar area. Food was great, we were there at Steak-Thursday, and had very good dinner, steaks were very delicious and well cooked.
Also met nice local people for a chat at the bar.

We stopped here at random for an evening meal, on the way to the coast. It's very convenient being just off the main road. It doesn't look much from the outside, but there was a warm welcome from the well-trained staff, and the food was delicious and generous portions.

We dropped in on the off chance of a table and were greeted with a really friendly, warm welcome. Our drinks and food order were taken promptly and a courtesy comment made that the food maybe a little while due to a larger group before us, which wasn't an issue. Lovely food, good portion sizes, nothing too 'in your face' but the option to add to if really hungry! Good value, good cooking and a good place to choose.

Excellent service, great food, good breakfast choice, high quality ingredients. Quiet surrounding area.Only concern was the generator noise at back of our room outside but 5 star still given for overall visit.

Waited an age to be seated and then again for the food to be served.
When it did arrive, it was mixed temperatures and so bland.
Would not return.

We were made very welcome by staff and locals. The dog friendly bar is small but very pleasant. The food was excellent in quality with large portions. Free parking in their car park as well as on street parking. Well worth a visit.

Had our wedding reception in the fox and hounds X It was everything and more that we asked for .

Stayed the night and woke up to a lovely welcome and a full Welsh breakfast.
