What a fabulous pub?. Really can?t fault it ? the staff are wonderful, food is great and the addition of it also being the local shop makes it very quirky x

Was camping few miles away and cycled here for food and drink. Community pub that appears to have 2 prices. One for locals another for tourists. £20 for a burger seemed excessive for a basic pub, so had one drink and left. Locals standing in door way and appeared reluctant to move to let me through. Very disappointing.

First time here, as we are on holiday, and from the moment we walked in, we were so welcomed in, we hadn't booked and just called in hoping to get a table, luckily we were able to, as there were 6 of us. It felt as though we were regulars here, not just visitors and that's what makes the difference, The food came very quickly and was fresh, hot, and presented well, so all positive really the only negative and it's only a little thing, and nothing they can do, was the flies, it was a hot evening and in the country side so I suppose you expect the odd one, other than was a really enjoyable meal,
Parking was easy but if you have a big car or truck you might find it hard to get the their car park, so you might have to find a space on the street.
If you're a disabled person then no issues here as there is a ramp to gain entry and plenty of room inside and out to be honest.
It's also a pet-friendly place so you can bring that added family member if you need to.
For kids, there is a kids' menu with a reasonable selection, but unsure if they have a play area.
Now value, although I can not fault the food or service, the pricing for me was a bit steep, I had the smashed beef and bacon burger was fries, and homemade coleslaw, at £20 i thought that was a bit much.
So to round it off, really enjoyed our visit , had a lovely meal, would I return of course as the service we received was amazing

Great location and views. Nice pub, nice beer but the food was awful. Fish finger was still frozen, not cooked and chips not cooked. Server never asked how the food was could tell as we left is all

What a lovely eatery!
Found this online after looking for somewhere allergy friendly and this did not disappoint. Top meal, thank you! We will be back next time we are in the area for sure

Don't normally write reviews, but thought this community pub restaurant deserved 5 stars (and a good plug!). Sunday lunch was top notch and deliciously good, plus really good value. Friendly staff, locals and customers. Walked here through a stunning landscape from Glanllyn Campsite at end of Bala Lake. Would defo visit again.
(There's a public footpath hidden behind the roadside hedge most of the way, but take care on the section nearest the campsite. The community need to press the council and landowners to link the path to connect to the pedestrian/cycle path alongside Bala Lake. The pub and local amenities would benefit from the additional footfall and this would improve road safety).

Great service, great food and great atmosphere. You are made welcome as soon as you enter.
This is a hidden gem which is not on a main road but definitely worth finding.
It doubles as a shop for basic groceries.
