What a lovely little Italian themed cafe and restaurant in Bala. We only chose this as the best out of what was on offer in the area, but was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, well lit, the staff were welcoming & polite, and the menu was inviting.
My partner ordered the Welsh Pate from the starter menu, and I an American Hot pizza, with a couple of additional toppings. Each of us also had a bottle of Snowdonia Craft lager (I had never had this lager before, but liked it so much that I bought six bottle to take home from the local supermarket).
The food was well presented and tasty. My partner told me that the pate was delicious. My pizza was very tasty, the base was thin and crispy, and very well presented. When my partner's bread ran out, she was very quickly provided with more upon request with no additional charge.
All in all, very nice, and would go again.
The only down side, and why I've given an overall 4 out of 5, the main door to the restaurant was opened wide for fresh air, even though no one was asked first if they wanted it opened. It wasn't exactly a warm evening, so we had cold air blowing into the seating area.

I think i have just had the best spag bol I've EVER had in over 50 years! If there was a better one, age has crept up on me and i have forgotten it! Absolutely delicious!!! Thank you

We stopped in for a tea and coffee. Both were really nice, service was good too. Server was very pleasant!

Two slices of average cold ham with eggs , fries and few leaves of salad -17£.
Chicken just curry with salt?
And still 4.5 on Google maps ?
Now I know why British cousin has such a bad reputation

Looked promising with a nicely focused menu. Service was a little weird as someone kept pushing our server out of the way and doing stuff himself. Efficient maybe but awkward. The food tasted ok especially the pesto pasta but there was no spice to the arabiatta. The pasta was also a little overdone.
All in all it was an ok experience but could only really give a four out of five stars.

Tried to book a table at just gone 19.30 was told closing soon so wouldn't accept a booking! Their booking facility on the website offered me a table for 2 at 20.45! When I looked at 20.10. Website states closes at 21:00 ? Maybe they're not keen on my accent when I responded hello in English to their greeting.
Can't advise on food but customer service needs improvement.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Higher prices than the pub but its reflected in the food quality and service. Our party had light bites today and we all thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Would happily come back if we visit Bala again.
