This is the first review I have ever written?.Myself, and my husband and grandchildren arrived and were told there were no tables available, although the table by the bar was unoccupied my husband was told no the table was unavailable by one of the servers I was unaware of this and asked the lady behind the bar who stated she always forgets that table and we were welcome to have this table.
We ordered our meals and the lady that allowed us to be seated at the table kept coming over to apologise for our wait of over 1hour we had our grandchildren with us 10 & 11 who ordered pizzas, patiently waiting.
My chilli con carni was that hot I was unable to eat it ! The waitress stated I keep telling him it?s too hot and kindly bought me some Greek yoghurt.
Which I really appreciated.
I asked for a discount due to the long wait and one wasted meal and the owner not the waitress refused my request.
Apologetically the lady explained that she is unable to discount any discrepancies.
Which I totally understand.
There was another table of a group of men that were also quite disappointed with the wait and explained that it was due to the resultant having a takeaway at the side of the restaurant and they seemed to get preferential treatment.
Thanks for the experience!
But no thanks never again.

Food was descent, but BEWARE of overcharges.
The table behind me complained about the incorrect charge and waitress laughed it off as having pressed the wrong button.
I was charged 9.50 for a 7.25 Quatro Formaggio, but was to tired from travel to argue it. Shameful!

Stunning! Food was fresh and delicious. The owner had incredible hospitality and was entertaining. His passion is clear and it reflects in the pizza. The highlight was the dough balls with freshly made hummus. Incredible experience. Thank you.

This is without a doubt, the best pizza ever! It?s incredibly rich, fresh, and delicious. I also want to highlight the outstanding customer service. Masoud is exceptionally welcoming and a true gentleman, treating his customers with respect and kindness. Thank you for providing the best experience, it truly made my holiday special. Food is very fairly priced, massive portions, homemade bread rolls & pasta, had to walk off after excess consumption, lovely large glasses of Merlot, open till late. Highly recommend. Bear in mind most of Bala is cash only or preferred cash, so arrive prepared to support cash and small business.
