Chef microwave ran the place and the only edible bit of food was the garden peas. The roaming felines looked more appetising. Kitchen nightmares this is one for you?

Excellent spot to stop. I've passed here so many times in the last few years, mostly on my m/cycle, but never stopped before, as it's only 45 minutes from home, but coming back from a ride out today it was conveniently located.Very attentive young lads on table service, great menu choices, and very reasonable prices.Didn't want to spoil my tea, so only a sausage sandwich and a hot chocolate (and it was properly hot), I'll definitely be back, as the pancakes looked lovely.Highly recommended ? ?

We had breakfast here twice. The food is heavenly. It's family run and the staff and owners are warm and friendly. There are cat figurines all along the windows that are great fun to look at and hear the stories about where they came from. A definite must if you're in the area.

Visited here 6 years ago when camping nearby, found the cafe by chance & LOVED it!!We have been staying the other side of Wales this Christmas & needed to find it again! An 1.5hr drive & we found it, still absolutely amazing!!Beautiful cappuccino, fresh cooked food, bacon to die for!!Please visit here if you are anywhere near!Sadly we live the east side of England, so can't visit again soon.

Good food, friendly, local Welsh-speaking staff. A much-needed local employer. Very happy to bring family and friends here. Great to see regulars of all ages welcomed here. No drama, bad music or fauning staff. If you are needy, this is not for you. Country Cooks has quiet style.
