Proper no frills fish and chips shop. They did have gluten free fish and chips as well as GF gravy and GF malt vinegar. They prep the gluten free options in a separate frier and it comes out labeled. However, they don?t make their own tartar sauce, and the batter and fries were very oily and lacking some flavor. But, I felt safe eating there. Big portions!

Had a take out whilst on holiday. The food was delicious. Service was quick. Prices are not so bad either. Would eat here again.

Average quality chips, very greasy, not cooked the best. Although I'm fortunate my locals are exceptional chip shops. Service very poor by the young fella, like a sarcastic 13 year old - with the face of a kid working a 10 shift in maccy D's. Fair enough it must be crap working in a greasy choppy all day, but poor customer service is disappointing. 3rd and last time we've encountered this chippy - but what do they care as they are probably the only chip shop in Bala.

Very disappointed with the takeaway fish and chips they were below satisfactory....the fish was very tiny and dried to a crisp it wasn't very warm and the chips were cold, they had closed by the time i headed back to return them, definitely wasn't value for the money and I feel so angry I was ripped off, I won't be returning .

The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was a disappointment. The smallest piece of fish, overloaded by a mound of peas and chips (this was all 4 portions so not just a one-off mistake...charging an expensive price for a tiny piece of cod). We took a visitor from Australia and were embarrassed about this being their experience of having traditional fish and chips.

Food from here is spot on we always come here when we are passing through or camping locally. It?s always fresh made to order not been sitting there a while like most. Really good food always worth it

Faultless!! Grabbed a takeout breakfast. The Badell Muffin with sausages, egg, cheese and two hash browns. Was so fresh, hot and tasty, wish I could give more than 5 stars. Kindly swapped the meat sausages for veggie ones. Server was very helpful in getting me a veggie version. Would definitely go back! Not to be missed!

Get the orders wrong all the time guaranteed to forget ur garvy or peas gravy is either watered down to thin an tastless or lumpy and off putting probably one of the worst we've bn to in Wales

Fish & Chips were very poor quality. Full of grease. High price for what it is. I won?t be returning unfortunately.
