Decent enough store if you just need a few items but not enough on its own to do all your shopping.I'm used to having more choice where I live with more options on where to go locally.I hope they buy their meat from corwes and his blue bins!Sais am byth!!!! Definitely need your car in Amlwch.ieuchyd da I pob sais.Hen tacla cymro.Just joking but don't miss Amlwch I do however miss when co op used to be kwickies and Tony used to stack the shelves he was such a character such an great person to talk to and when moses stein used to do the the trollies.Ive forgotten where I was from but I'm happy where I am.

Amazing customer service was in the store fundraising and I watched a staff member approach a blind lady with a basket ask if she wants help then she walked around the store linked arms helping this lady do all her shopping amazing service and a amazing person.

Very friendly and helpful staff.Canned food all over the shop instead of a single area as are clearance shelves.

Bit pricey but at least it's there, after this place the nearest is about 15 miles away

Good store with a decent range of products. Very handy if you forget something on your weekly shop since the nearest large supermarket is an half hour drive away. I wouldn't do my weekly shop here as it's far too expensive but this store is a good store that's not too far away.

The only thing good about this store, is the staff. Hugely overpriced and understocked! Not fair on the locals who can't get anywhere else or those struggling financially. The store has changed over the years but no improvement. Isn't it about time this town had something decent. Local consensus is for a Tesco Express..... and they used to be the pricier store!

Delivery driver blocked the whole road for at least 10 mins while making a difficult manoeuvre (blindside onto bay).No staff members present to help/speed things up.I would have thought it company policy that staff would be available to assist and maintain good Health and Safety practices.Worst of all there was an elderly lady with a walking aid stood the whole time waiting. Not good enough in my opinion COOP you need to address your company policies and procedures.

Just been to co op, Amlwch. I had about 5 things to get. Went to the self service. For some unknown reason only to God the box of ice lollies didn't scan. "Wait for an assistant". Waited. Only one lad on the main till. Other assistants were an endangered species. So went to the next self service. Same thing happened again with the lollies . Nothing wrong with the box. Hadn't been bashed about and barcode was clear. So I walked out. I wanted tags too. But unless you manage to get the attention of whoever's on the main till you have no chance. Have to go out of my way now to get what I couldn't get in co op. Why get rid of the kiosk where you could buy cigarettes and do the lottery. You have to quee up with people that have a full trolley.. It just doesn't work the changes they made.

Very disappointing by service. Not only had I to wait for ages at self-checkout as not enough staff were on the shop floor (it was 5pm on Friday 9 April - a busy time when everybody's come out of work, getting a few bits before going home), but I was then told I couldn't buy the reduced tub of ice cream, I was going to get with some brownie bites. Why? Because the sell-by date had expired. The yg shop assistant wouldn't budge, even though I told him I was totally happy to buy it - I often eat out-of-date food without any problems. He told me he was going to throw it. I told him I didn't want it going to waste! This is really outrageous #foodwaste is so disgusting and a major problem in the UK and the world. It's very sad that this is happening.

At the moment the shelves are a little bare at coop never seen it so empty but it will get better it aint their fault there's not enough delivery drivers they all went back home before lockdown pay emm a decent wage you might get some back .

Though i like this co-op with its fresh looking fruit & veggies and well laid out everything else im dismayed to see about half the customers not wearing masks and nobody challenging them. There always seems to be a shortage of staff when I've been in the shop. Get your finger out co-op. I want to feel safe when i shop! That's why I've downgraded them to 4*

Nice clean and friendly shop service quick and you can choose to use self check out if you want, small car park but enough for the amount of customers, problem with stock many shelfs empty but this seams to be happening all over due to the shortage of drivers, they have most items just you have to except brands you did not want .

Very expensive. Everything twice the price of other supermarkets. But its the only one in the village, so unless you want to drive out a few miles you are just going to have to fork out a little extra for your essentials.
