always awful "music" at the bar, if you wanna chat with your friends in a bar/ cafe, better go somewhere else;worst Student Union i've seen, charge every student £5 tax before they can join any society (not including societies' membership fee yet).some staffs are friendly while some are not.perhaps the university itself takes some blame.

Classic pop chosen on the video duke box, scruffy round the edges, friendly staff and a quiet room as well as all the usual social facilities. Got a shop, student union office and a careers place too. Useful. Serves food till later than most other places on campus.

Very good uni, visiting as my son is thinking of going to Aberystwyth university, the only reason for 4 stars is that the building is beginning to look a little tired. But the students and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
