It's been far too long since I had my eyes checked, so visited the Aberystwyth branch of Specsavers with a little trepidation. I was delighted by the warm, friendly, professional service and excellent level of customer care. Special thanks to William the optometrist and Jodie who helped me choose my new pair of glasses, offering personal guidance and valuable advice. I also paid a little extra to have the retinal scan which is able to explore below the surface of the retina. Looking forward to my next visit in a couple of years' time.

Had my eye test previously I was called back as they found something that needed investigating, the optician needed to look inside the pupils, one problem was identified and a full explanation given of next steps to be taken. Brilliant service. Fully recommended

I went here for hearing aid test and check on current Phonak Aids. I was seen by Louis and she was fabulous. Talked me through everything that she was doing repaired, updated and set my currents aids to new test result, again, fabulous. In comparison to the Boots audiologist who, in four years, never retested or reset my aids. I give SpecSavers, Louis, absolutely full marks 10/10

I usually find places like opticians very clinical, like you are just a number to be processed. I was pleasantly surprised to find the staff here very engaging with a human touch and a very genuine understanding that not everyone finds these visits easy. Thanks guys

Before moving to Wales of been a happy customer of Specsavers for 15 years. That was before I encountered the Aberystwyth franchise. If you didn't know it is a franchise business so the service depends totally on the franchisee. I found them unresponsive, lacking appointment times, said they would make changes to my lens prescription and didn't and, seemed to lack much in the way of enthusiasm. I've transferred to a local independent optician and am happier for it

I have had nothing but good experiences with Specsavers in Aberystwyth. Over a good number of years, the helpful staff from the management down have made the need to have sight corrected an easy experience. On the rare occasion of an adjustment being required, this has been carried out without fuss and even nose pads replaced whilst waiting.If I wasn't happy, I wouldn't keep going back!
