Lots of tasty lunch options. The tendency is towards vegetarian dishes and salads with a meat and fish option. Is you choose a main bite, you can add two salads for 5.95, which we all chose to do. The two salads are about the right size for one person. The pork belly was delicious. The asparagus and leek tart came with a generous serving of smoked salmon. This was also delicious. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

It was recommended to us to try this place during our stay and it did not disappoint. We were seated downstairs where it has an open & airy feel & is tastefully decorated. We ordered the Shakshuka & the Merguez sausage with bacon & sourdough toast. The sausage has a distinct lamb flavour which is a little stronger than the average pork sausage. The shakshuka was very tasty, I could have had more. The two coffees were good & hot.
We did some sightseeing and later returned to the cafe to have some coffee & pastries. The cinnamon roll looked very tempting and tasted good but the pastry was a little bit chewy. The pain au raisin looked a little pale but was enjoyable nonetheless.
We would definitely return to Medina on our next visit and do recommend that you try it for yourself. They also have a shop in the town where you can buy some of their produce.

Absolutely disgusting food. Bacon was cooked to an inch of its life and the sausages were vile. Their chai latte was ok, but for food? Avoid.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. We ordered marinated chicken and pork belly with three delicious and unusual salads and none of it disappointed. Will be back.

We finally had a chance to try Medina today and I'm very glad we did! We had lunch - a mezze each with 3 salads and some flatbread, all of it very tasty and good value. The pork belly was excellent with the fat properly rendered, and the buttermilk chicken was really succulent. We enjoyed it so much we went back a few hours later for coffee and cake/pastry - a very light baked cheesecake and a hazelnut pain au chocolat with whole hazelnuts on top, both really good. Prices were very reasonable and the service good. I thoroughly recommend Medina :)

Three of us ate here on a busy Saturday evening in June. One of us had had breakfast here the previous two mornings. It had quickly become his go to cafe/restaurant of choice! We sat upstairs by a window at a table with plenty of room to relax and enjoy one another's company. We were well served by attentive staff who gave good advice when asked. The food was tasty. The salads went down well. And the chicken was especially good. When we're back in Aberystwyth, we're definitely having supper here. And probably breakfast as well!
