Great place for my short vacation stay! Perfect room for what I needed it for personally and a wonderful breakfast in the morning too. Literally 30 seconds away from the beach and the castle ruins too

Appalling room..bed very small double and old. Bathroom with glass sliding door so no privacy.Smells of damp. No one to check you in or out. Just a folder on the desk with your name and room key inside. Narrow steep stairs. Dated and old. Breakfast is OK but served in the below ground level room down steep stairs. If you manage to contact owner with an issue her reply is rude and verbally abusive. Obviously 1 or 2 rooms are nice but the rest are below standard. Overpriced compared to similar places.
Rooms: Very small. No view. Not as pictured on website. Shower room closet size. Old and worn.

Enjoyed our stay here, breakfast was lovely, service was lovely and the rooms were okay. The only downside was the double bed was really small and hardly fit 2 people. Not sure if that was just our room or something found in all the rooms.

Had a lovely stay and is quite easy to park on the seafront roads nearby (no restrictions). Breakfast was epic!!! Had a full Welsh and a veggie option, we were both impressed!! Check in was by folder at reception and chatted to friendly stay at breakfast. Any messages were quickly answered too ???

5 stars because it was such a lovely stay. Easy walk to town, lucky to find a park nearby immediately. Right on beach front. Tiny, but clean & cozy. The only hotel so far in Uk (3 wks) that had choc's & bottled water complimentary in our room. Thank- you. Excellent breakfast included, cooked to order with good morning smiles. Very pleased with our choice, good value.

This place is great, a 30second walk to the sea front which is prefect when you have kids. The staff were so friendly and went out their way to make us enjoy our stay (we stayed a extra night so stayed in two rooms) rooms were clean, comfortable and affordable offering a really good breakfast within the price. Can?t wait to come back again!!!

A great guesthouse near the sea at Aberystwyth - the room was clean, tidy and had all amenities expected for a night's stay. The breakfast is incredibly tasty too and well worth the stay! Diolch yn fawr.

Excellent location, very pleasant service at breakfast. We could even leave our bags after we checked out so we could keep exploring. Breakfast was great, beds were comfy and the room was spotless. Would definitely recommend!

Pictures showing complete filth, dirt, mould , wallpaper peeling off walls, ceiling coming through , stains on the bed, hairs on the bed , dirt and mold in the shower and outside of the shower , and on the shower head. Rusty towel rail, mold all over the window blinds. No cleaner present for the duration of the stay. Bins not emptied , no clean towels or change of bedding. Mold on the towels. From outside the window looking into the garden , the sherr state and mess of it. Going down to breakfast , stains and dirt on the carpet of the stairs.
I will not ever come here again. I couldn't even use the facilities such as the shower , it was filthy. I was in utter shock to see what I saw at this place . I didn't enjoy my stay what's so ever. It wasn't child friendly. My four year daughter was with me! I was not going to let her in that shower and use them towels. My child couldn't reach the sink. The bed was too high. I had to stay in the room with her smelly nappies because there was no cleaner. I never got greeted upon arrival. I had to guess for myself where my room was. There was left on the table in reception my keys to the room. I didn't know where to go! I did get lost. So unprofessional and badly run.
I tried to make a complaint and the management were so rude and didn?t take any responsibility for the problems I had mentioned.

We chose Aberystwyth as an overnight stay on our trip from Liverpool to Cardiff through Snowdonia, Harlech, and other stops. Our room was small, double bed was comfortable, and bathroom fine. The full English Breakfast was great. The location near the castle and pier is outstanding. Easy walk to train station and pubs.
