As it?s authentic Italian pizzas they make the bases in advanced using proper methods, so on busy days will run out as they?re so good - so plan in advance!

Fabulous location! Great service and nice atmosphere, very high quality pizzas, not cheap we paid £88 for a family of 4 which consisted of 3 pizzas, 4 beers, 1 x salad, 1 x olives and 2 x ice cream tubs. I rated 4 out of 5 however my wife and kids rated 5/5 I might of been watching too many Dave Portnoy pizza reviews apparently ?

I visited for a casual tea after a day on the beach on holiday with my family who were all eating pizza from the restaurant. I have coeliac disease and am highly sensitive to gluten and cross-contamination. The gluten-free pizzas are cooked in the same oven as regular ones, and flour is used around the prep area, so unfortunately it wasn?t safe for me to eat there. To still join my family who love pizza, I brought my own food and sat outside with them.
A staff member approached and told me I couldn?t eat my food there. I completely understand that venues have policies, but this was said repeatedly and loudly in front of other diners and left me feeling embarrassed. I put my food away and went inside to speak to the manager privately and explain my condition, hoping for some understanding ? but instead after quite a heated conversation I was told I was the one being rude, that I should have asked permission, and that I was ?humiliating myself? by bringing it up. The conversation ended with, ?Well, don?t come to a pizza restaurant then? and a complete lack of empathy or value for me and my family as customers or individual people.
I understand in hindsight that I should have asked first, but didn't think it would even be an issue in such a holiday setting. The real issue for me wasn?t the policy itself, it was being publicly singled out, made to feel like I was doing something wrong for managing my medical needs, and spoken to with little empathy when I tried to explain. I wasn?t trying to break rules or be difficult. I was just trying to share a family meal safely after a nice day in the beach and felt humiliated and dismissed instead.
Coeliac disease isn?t a checkbox. What?s safe for one person might not be for another and it can be very isolating. I?m sharing this not to criticise the food, but to highlight how situations like this could be handled with more empathy and awareness and kindness.

Called in to Crust for a takeaway pizza 10mins before the restaurant closes, I wouldn't have been surprised if I was turned away empty handed, but luck was on my side and I was rewarded with a Buffalo Crust pizza.
Service was polite, friendly and efficient, and the pizza was probably the best I've had outside of Italy.
Chewy, crispy dough, high quality ingredients, and topping aplenty, and probably the best value for money eatery in Abersoch, prices no more expensive than any other Pizzeria in the country.
