We recently visited The Optic Shop to have our eyes tested and were really impressed with the professional and friendly service we received. Jane did a really comprehensive eye examination with topnotch equipment and spent a lot of time patiently explaining everything while Aimee was extremely helpful in helping us to choose new frames from the extensive selection available. We would highly recommend them.

Ordered a pair of prescription Oakley glasses which were dispatched the same day and purchased for an excellent price, cannot fault the service and will definitely be back!

Everyone at the Optic shop Abergavenny are really friendly and helpful we have been visiting them for many years and we are so impressed with the service we receive. A recent example is when my husband had a sudden change in his vision which concerned Jane and within days she arranged an appointment in Royal Gwent hospital where treatment has begun our thanks go to all concerned.

Great service from a friendly and professional team. Jane picked up a potentially serious problem, told me about things to look for and referred me to hospital. Staff always helpful and have seen both myself and family members with urgent problems.

All the staff at The Optic Shop are amazing, especially Aimee. I recently had a problem with my eye and after just one phone call I got an appointment the same day to check that everything was ok. They really care about their patients and provide a fantastic service.

We have been customers of the optic shop since we moved to the area around 20 years ago and during that time they have looked after me and my family with extreme professionalism, care and most importantly friendliness, they helped my daughter moving to contact lenses as she got older and made sure she looked after her eyes properly, they have helped me with many changes to my contact lens and glasses prescriptions and have always arranged trials when ever my contact lenses have changed.The staff have always offered good advice and have never tried to push the more expensive options that exist and seem to genuinely care and even managed to provide a full service during covid when many other health organisations such as Doctors and Dentists avoided seeing people.Overall an excellent service with great staff, I really cannot praise them enough and wish them every success

On honeymoon in lovely Wales and found that my aviator ray barns had popped a lens. Repaired, screws tightened, cleaned all for no cost and a snazzy case as well. Top service...friendly, professional and quick. highly recommended..and I should know as my dad, uncle, grandfather..etc were all opticians!!

Absolutely amazing service . Rang this morning regarding daughters broken glasses needed for a driving lesson , was asked to bring the glasses in and the friendly staff popped the lenses into a new frame all within 20 minutes . First time visit , will definitely be returning and definitely recommend . Great customer service and friendly helpful staff .

All staff members very friendly and professional.Thorough eye test and contact lens check. Wide range of glasses to choose from. Fast service - glasses ready within half an hour!They are keeping the store covid-safe whilst still being welcoming. We were pleased to find that even dogs are allowed!I found The Optic Shop to be thorough, efficient, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend these opticians. I booked an appointment for an eye test on recommendation from a friend after suffering headaches. The service I received was very professional and very thorough. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and couldn?t do enough to help. I will definitely be going back for every eye checkup from now on. Thank you!
