Had all the tests done by a lovely chap who was very friendly and informative. The Optician was very helpful and had a query which she wrote to my GP concerning. I thought this was great care. When I went downstairs to choose glasses, the lady who helped me was really attentive and honest. She took her time in measuring and they are perfect. I took ages having them tightened and even went back 10 minutes later as they felt too tight. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and very professional. I have gone here for many years and always found their customer service to be brilliant. Thank you everyone. x

I had great service from the optician SERJAL who was kind courteous ad caring. I also had good help with choosing my new glasses and having them fitted on collection 6 days later. All round a good experience this time!

Optician was great. Help choosing glasses bad. I bought recommend varifocals. After care with new glasses really awful. Spoken to as if I was an idiot and understood nothing. No regard for my personal input into conversation. Told varifocals no good for wotking on a computer anyway. They recommend them! To top it all having spent nearly £400 on recommend varifocals and not getting on with them. I was told that really my prescription was so low that I didn't need distance glasses at all let alone varifocals and to go get some general magnifying glasses 2.75 on line to use to work and read. WOW! I got a refund easily, which was a positive and will never return to a spec savers ever.

Awful awful shop. Jenny was very rude and abrupt from the get go. Staff are very vacant and not at all helpful. Made to feel I was in the way the entire time. I certainly wouldn?t recommend SS Abergavenny and will not be returning. A lesson in customer service is needed.

Time wasters. Had my son booked in for a contact lense trial for over 3 weeks, only for them to tell us when we get there that they don't have his prescription in store.

Second to NoneI attended for an eye test on the 28th July 2023 and was seen by the Optometrist called Emily in Specsavers Abergavenny.I have had many eye tests before, but the attention to detail that Emily went into and the willingness to listen to my concerns made me feel valued as a patient and with clear explanations, Emily helped me to understand the status of my eyesight and the necessary steps for maintaining optimal eye health.I would highly recommend Emily to anyone.Ade Parrock

Awful. Walked in to get my glasses tightened and ended up getting completely ignored for over half an hour even when no one was in the store. Some staff even went as far as to show the other her husbands prescription right next to us. One even went as far as to come up to my friend, ask about their bag and then walk off again.Completely unprofessional and I'm quite unhappy
