I' m working with Miracle Workers for 19 months already and I am very happy. I would not change to another agency at all. All the managers that I've worked with are very supportive and caring, not even once I felt alone or unheard. During these hard times I felt that Miracle Workers as an all, were concerned about us, our mental, emotional and physical health, I was approached by the managers wanting to know how I was going. If they are not available at the time, always someone is willing to help and hear me and pass forwards my concerns , and as soon as possible I had a feedback. I'm really happy that, for once, someone is caring about carers and not just business and clients.

I started caring in March of 2011 and have ALWAYS only worked through Miracle Workers. Never wait for a post and ALWAYS have the agency's backing behind me. I am not biased but the best agency to work for in the UK. Xxx

I joined MWA in 2016 and have always had work for the dates I'm available. I appreciate the support I receive from the care managers and other office staff, who have always been helpful and understanding.Keep up the great work!

My very first live in agency and the best! Had long term placements and the client description was 100% so you knew if you might like it or not. Good rates of pay and good communication from the agency. Travelled with work from them all over the country.

i worked as self employed live in carer for them over a year ago. cressida, who was in charge for accommodation for mandatory training, reproached me as if i were a kid , for not sharing a bedroom with vanessa, another carer. however, cressida had not bothered to inform me about vanessa's arrival...i paid for the room about 180£, but she treated me as if i occupied the room for free. on my first assignement i let my care manager, ceri, know that the client complained about carers not washing their hands after coughing or sneezing and continuing in cooking. ceri hiwever did not care saying -they had hygiene lessons...i also let ceri know that the client complained about her stuff damaged by carers who however did not tell this to the client and the client just found it later by chance. ceri however wanted the names of the carers who did it...the client had loss of memory...the client was unhappy with the carers. i told ceri to communicate directly with the client but she did not. the client did not get any damages, just ceri let the clients daughter know about the damaged stuff. ceri did not arrange for financial transaction records so carers just used the clients cash without any records, the client could not remember what happened to her cash...the client was not manageable in car, she was challenging so i suggested ceri that the client needed treatment for dementia (the client did not receive any treatment for loss of memory) and that her gp might not be experienced in dementia so a specialist should have examined the client. ceri disagreed, she got angry about this saying i offended the clients family. so i rather appologized to the clients daughter (who was ok, not offended). when my assignement ended, ceri asked me whether i wanted another assignement. i did. since then i never heard from miracle workers. i waited for another assignement for two months, it was waste of my money. ceri did not bother to tell me she would not give me any job anymore. after a year i met nina, their carer. nina told me that the same happened to her - suddenly they stopped offering her clients but they always recruited new carers and offered clients to them. i cannot give negative reviews for care agencies on time because with this job a carer needs at least two work references from her last employers. and your last employer will not give you a work reference when your review of them is negative. then you cannot be recruited...so each time i have to wait a year or two until i dont need their work reference.
