Sometimes you have to search to find a gem and with many other coffee shops nearby this isn't the most obvious one on the street. However, go here and not the others. The coffee is excellent and the cakes are in another league. Of particular note was the coffee and pecan cake which is miles better than coffee and walnut, and easily the best coffee based cake I have ever had. The place has a great vibe and pretty little garden to sit in if the weather is nice. Worth visiting Abergavenny for this place alone!

A very special place with a beautiful garden. Great coffee and the best cakes to be found in Abergavenny - especially the bakewell with white chocolate covered raspberries! We happened to go on a very hot day, planning to sit in the garden but were tempted to stay inside as it was so lovely & cool. It's a must, try it, you won't be disappointed.

Love this little café and the gorgeous garden you can sit in if the weather is nice! The drinks were great and cakes were so delicious, genuinely some the best I've tasted, and the owners are so lovely and kind!

What a beautiful and intimate place for a coffee or cake by people who have studied their craft and care a huge amount about the output. Super lucky to spend time here. Great work!

Lovely cafe with a wonderful quiet garden. Coffee is OK. Out of a dozen cakes available there wasn?t one GF option so that was disappointing, and unusual these daysDietary restrictions: They have non dairy milk options (I had oat cappuccino) but no gluten free food option. Not a place for snacks if you?re celiac or gluten intolerant

Wonderfully fresh and delicious coffee. Very welcoming staff. The place is small, cosy, low-key, but very worth it!Oh. The cakes are good too!

We always go by google reviews whilst looking for places in areas that we visit. Visited the fig tree based on reviews and were not disappointed. The coffee was fantastic and we were blown away by the cakes, so much so that we cant wait to go back and work our way through them. Lovely passionate owners. Lovely visit. 5/5.

Fantastic coffee and the best homemade cakes around! I wish they were open more days.

Delightful little place. Delicious coffees and teas served in pretty china cups and mugs. The owners make the baked goods, and they are amazing! (both the owners and the cakes). I had the chocolate ginger cake. A tang of ginger, with plenty of cocoa flavour, not too sweet, plenty of icing. I can't wait to try some of the other items, the offerings vary weekly. In the summer there is a lovely garden in which to sit out and enjoy your beverage.Parking: A short walk awayKid-friendliness: Children welcome here

A nice (and dog-friendly) spot to grab a coffee and a great piece of cake. Clean and pleasant. Not a particularly warm welcome from the staff - no smile, limited interaction (unfortunately) but the coffee was excellent.

Delicious home made cakes - I had the blueberry, almond and chocolate cake. And a lush flat white in a cute ceramic mug.Cosy on the inside with a beautiful garden too. A favourite in
