“Household shopping isn’t what I would classify as fun, especially when you’re looking for the best buy. But the staff at Savers is Abergavenny have got to be the sweetest I’ve ever come across, they remember you, ask how you are and make household shopping that bit better!”

“I can remember when all items (or multiples of) were £1:00. But now you have to check the price labels, e.g. coffee is £4:00. It could be argued the shop isn't actually called £1:00Land, but just remember to check the prices. This store also practices trying to flog you chocolates at the till. I usually say that if I had wanted chocolates, I would have added them to my bag on the way around the shop! It's just a personal thing, but I really loathe this type of selling and I am just grateful I don't shop with children as it does put unnecessary pressure on the parent.”

“I visited Abergavenny B and M today, almost dreading it as I hate wearing a mask! However I only went in for a few things. When I went to the till to pay at about 10.35 I was served by the most wonderful lady, she was a breath of fresh air, she made me laugh and made a very anxious experience for me a very pleasant one and great fun. We need more experiences like this during such ridiculous times. WELL DONE B&M. I wish I knew the ladies name, please find out who she is and thank her, she was on the till at about 10.30 this morning Sat Oct 24th. You have a brilliant member of staff there.Thank you.”
