What an amazing fabric and haberdashery shop, in Abbergavenny. Easy to find and bursting at the seams with everything sewing related.The lady so friendly, lovely to chat to. She helped me find what I needed. I just want to visit again!

It's a delight to buy fabric IRL (rather than online), particularly when served by such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic assistant - a real character. The shop is crammed to the rafters with all sorts of fabric and notions, though it probably caters slightly better for quilters/patchworkers than dressmakers. Thoroughly recommended!

Just wonderful. The owner is lovely. The ladies who work with her are lovely. A class I did today was outstanding and I truly could not rate this place more highly. Nice collection of fabrics and a truly amazing find. A true welsh gem. You must go and see for yourself. I can not wait to come back.

Andrea is amazing! I love their classes and all their fabrics, they have a large selection and their fabrics are not your common run of the mill cheap, find anywhere fabrics, they are unique and of the best quality so yeah i pay a bit more but for my line of products i want to pass on quality to my customers and this is what i get with Black Mountain Fabrics. Also the staff is excellent and all very helpful x
