The pharmacy is conveniently located within the local doctors' surgery complex. It's a bit small but adequate. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

I?ve been with the surgery all my life, but both the pharmacy and the surgery are beyond a joke. I?m overdue my medication now by more than two weeks. Phoned last Friday, it?s not ready but will be Monday. Phoned Monday, not ready yet but it definitely will be within 20 minutes. Arrived by taxi around 40 minutes later. Not ready. It?ll be at least another 30 minutes with a taxi meter running. Never mind. Wife called today (Wednesday) for both our medications. They gave 1 of 8 for me. What will it take to realise they are playing with peoples health and lives?! Some people need their medication without fail everyday and they simply can?t deal with it. They are the most unhelpful staff I?ve ever dealt with. It?s just lie after lie with them. They don?t care. Before I arrived Monday there was another gentleman in front of me, and it was his second visit that day (eavesdropping) and he was told they?d be ready next week, to which he responded with I?m going on holidays tomorrow, I?ve told you this!! Wish I could give them zero stars. The only reason I?m still at the surgery and pharmacy is because of Dr Khana.

Now have to take controlled pain meds. Been on them for 2yrs now so my monthly script shouldnt be a surprise.. but it is, time and time again. Approached pharmacist to try to solve the problem but couldnt be less helpful. Covid may be playing havoc with the system and staff but if Im on a drug I NEED TO TAKE AND SHOULD NEVER STOP TAKING EVEN FOR ONE DAY!!..they should be able to flag them up and carry the stock to honour the script that my surgery has provided. When I made a suggestion to get round the issue I was dismissed with "Cant do it - patients get them as they need them". Right. I need them..monthly..every month.. for the foreseeable future.. so whats the problem. God, this is infuriating.

Every time I go into this pharmacy I feel like I?m doing something wrong!!!!!Pharmacist is always hostile when asking for medication.I always feel like I am a criminal as if I should not be asking for my stuff for itchy eyes ?hay fever?.Will never come to this pharmacist again.

Never open on time! When they DO open, the Pharmacist is late so you can't get your prescription! What a place! Avoid like the plague!

Absolutely sick and tired of receiving the wrong medication despite my going in and even phoning them and telling them what medication I need. This is a monthly occurance and the cost to the NHS is ridiculous. They just dispense the medication despite being told what is required. My GP has even stated that the inhaler they are dispensing cannot be taken with the one I am now on. Absolutely shockingly incapable of getting it right. Maybe this review will illicit a response from them that will result in my getting the correct medication and save the NHS the hundreds of pounds that is being wasted by this pharmacy as the medication now has to be destroyed. ð??²ð??²ð??²

Modern looking pharmacy attached to the Hirwaun Health center.
This pharmacy has to be the most badly run business in Rhonnda Cynon Taff as everybody seems to be busy doing nothing does it really take nearly a week to make a prescription up of 3 items of pills , it does here and they will blame the health center receptionist and the receptionist will blame the pharmacy.
please avoid this place as they will lead you up the garden path worst business in Hirwaun by a mile.
