I have taken a large amount of cash out of my account on two separate occasions this year in branch using my bank card and banking app always having to rush their after work, I got their at 4:10pm but this time they insisted on a form of identification, needing cash quickly I had to arrange for my partner to bring my driving licence to me. Only to returning to the branch to be greeted with I assume the manager closing the door in my face taping her watch mouthing it's 4:30 go to Merthyr tomorrow. Very dissapointed in the service and attitude of the staff.

My daughter came in a few days ago and enquired about swapping her bank account to something she could save more money in and was told she could do this online. No offer of help from the cashier! And people wonder why banks are closing on the high street.

The staff here are always friendly. Service is usually very quick with few queues if any. The branch offers all the key services one would expect from a modern building society. Plus Nationwide is a fantastic option to bank with in general and has excellent online services.
