Ordered takeaway from here tonight and it was great. The food was hot when it arrived. Spicy dishes were indeed spicy. The dal was great (full of garlic though so worth noting if you don't, like us, love it). Delivery took about an hour (longer than quoted) and they use a lot of food dye (hence the 4 stars).
Regardless, this is a reliable place for a takeaway and well worth a go. Delivery person was also great.
Vegetarian options: The tarka dal is great. Rice options all lush. The nan bread is excellent. My friend also had a veg curry (maybe jalfrezi?) and loved it.

This is the second time now that Iv ordered a mixed starter and the lamb has been off. It?s grey inside and tastes so so awful. It absolutely stinks as well. Straight in the bin. Also the madras was bitter? whether the spices were burnt or not cooked out I?m unsure. My main concern tho is the off meat. You can?t cook away the taste of off meat. So so so gutted but this was absolutely rank. Messaged via fb but no response

Food never delivered. Ordered via their website & we rang 1hr 40mins later when our order still hadn't arrived. They were clueless as to the location of our order, eventually their driver reported having delivered it to some other address. Won't be trying again!

Ordered for a number of years. This time the chicken in both dishes was off. Tasted disgusting, 1 dish tasted of fish (could of been contamination, more likely it was just off as in my experience chicken that's turned smells and tastes a bit like fish) second dish tasted and looked nothing like chicken. Very poor and not worth the risk ever again.

Great little takeout - recommend the munch box, great value for money. Not rated atmosphere as it's take out only...looks a bit of a dinge but the food more than makes up for it.

We have used Spice Bay for a couple of years now and never disappointed. Their app makes it easy to compile your order, the food is absolutely top drawer and fresh. Also it should be noted that the portions, packaging,and little touches make this our first choice in the area.

We have used this place for years and we have noted that the food hygiene rating has increased to a 4. The food is usually very good and the onion bargis are to die for. Especially good value is the weeday specials from Monday to Wednesday
