They have shut the cafes, the deli's, meat and fish counters and the bakeries do not bake fresh made anymore. They have removed the tills and replaced with self checkouts, reduced the staff and now randomly check items at the self check out, because they don't trust you. All the while, prices go up, quality is on the decline, shrinkflation is rampant and customer service declines.
So now I'm shifting my hard earned money to elsewhere, I'm not saying other stores are any better, but it should not be a race to the bottom, but if it is, Sainsbury's you must be winning at that!

I do on line shopping with Sainsbury's for quite a few years. I was waiting for my order to arrive today between 1 and 2 but nothing arrived. I phoned Sainsbury's advising shopping hadn't arrived this was 2:06 person I spoke to checked why it hadn't arrived, turns out the van had broken down. I was told I could go and collect it at Whitley Bay unfortunately unable to get there. supposedly coming tomorrow. I got a text 2:23 advising it wasn't coming. Disgusted with your customer service and disgusted with the derisory offer of £5 and don't want that I just want my shopping

Normal Sainsbury's Supermarket with filling station. Actually only shop we can find that still sells 1lb bags of flour. Unlike others which only sell big bags. Also Sodastream gas cylinders which Argos stopped supplying. £10 deposit on empty returns £13 each. £23 otherwise...Now has Sushi counter if you like that type of thing..
