Always a good experience at the Cardfactory in Whitley Bay precinct. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. A good selection of cards and celebrations products for various affordable prices. I always go there first.

I called into my local Card Factory last Saturday. It was fairly busy with customers of all ages but mainly elderly. I noticed that all customers were wearing masksAll as per legal recommendation during covid.I noticed 4 members of staff, one on the shop floor and 3 at the till- not one of them was wearing a mask.Whilst paying for my cards I asked why none of them were masked up. The young guy serving me was polite and stated that he was exempt: this i accept. The manager was at the till next to him. He was completely ignorant, avoided eye contact, did not answer me initially. He then said ' ive just come out of the back of shop'. I told him he and his other 2 colleagues should wear masks and that they needed to protect the mostly elderly, more vulnerable customers. He didnt care at all, he just carried on what he was doing and ignored me.Shame on you Card factory

David the guard/clener got compliments yesterday. People commented on how fresh smelling and gleaming after cleaning the lift. Keep up your hard work. Appreciated

Card Factory seems to have an ever expanding chain of branches in the area. This one is located in the Park View shopping Centre in Whitley Bay but they also have other big stores in Killingworth, Cramlington, Wallsend to name but a few! Not surprising it is so popular because it really truly does sell its cards and gifts at fantastic prices!! A huge range of cards are on offer for every occasion imaginable, they are fantastic quality and it's very rare that you'd pay over 99p for a card, even the huge ones! The gift wrap, tissue paper and gift bags and boxes are equally great value. They also sell a small range of gifts, soft toys and stationery including, pens, diaries, sellotape, colouring sets etc. Why pay through the nose for cards when you can get some brilliant deals here?! Fab shop, highly recommended!!
