Pretty well priced, and a fairly bog standard hotel. Comes with breakfast involved. Cant really complain. used for work. Thank you!

There is literally nothing positive to say about my experience at Campanile Washington, other than it being just off the A1 which is handy.
Had I known just how terrible my experience would have been I?d have opted to pitch a tent across the road in the field instead.
The decor of the room was something straight out of the 1970?s, with chipboard walls being just the icing on the cake.
In terms of appliances you get a crudely taped together TV and one plug socket a mile and a half from your bed, the same bed that will be covered in ripped covers and joined with a pillow that?s covered in someone else?s lipstick.
Whist many will argue you get what you pay for, the prices ain?t that much cheaper than the competition.
Avoid like the plague!

Rooms honestly like going back to 1970s lucky if you can see the tv how far away from the bed it is. And the bathroom is like a jail bathroom however the room was sparkling and smelt fine. Fresh towels on each bed and massive room. But badly needs an upgrade but zero issues with the cleaning team they have!

You get what you pay for in terms of price.
Shortly after staying here, after using the parking registration system and filling in the necessary forms with my number plate, I received a fine. £100 reduced to £60 if I paid it within a certain amount of time. I appealed the fine with evidence of my stay, which was rejected because I should have followed the registration process, which I did. Do not stay at this hotel as the car park is operated by cowboys. I am currently disputing this fine.

it doesn't worth it. you will find nicer places(hotles and airbnb) with same price. To be honest, the room is very clean but very old and small. electric outlet are in strange places ?

The rooms were very clean but very tired. The mattress on our bed was very uncomfortable and I didn't sleep well during our stay.
The food downstairs was ok, hot and freshly cooked.
I would not stay again.

Hotel itself is okay for the money. Quality of room depends on what side of the hotel they put you. we had two rooms, one was good and the other had a hard bed and broken window.
*warning to future guests*
This place advertises free parking? yet we got a £200 parking fine despite giving our Reg over at reception. At check in the staff never said anything about having to also put your number plate in a parking machine. A week later we received a parking ticket. Hotel was not accommodating at all. Why not tell your guests to use the machine or you will get a fine. What was the point of giving our REG over at the desk? Won?t be staying here again.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for the
Past 5 nights. We were completely let down by the quality of an Airbnb property and the Campanile was the first hotel we came across.
The management team were really helpful in finding us 2 rooms on the ground floor which we needed due to my health conditions and from there they delivered excellent customer service. The rooms and food were good value for money and I would recommend

Great hotel if you are travelling with your furry 4 legged family member. Nice touch providing a sausage at breakfast for them too. Should let dogs into the restaurant the dog seating area is not nice at all and only one table. The breakfast was good . Beds in the hotel are really comfy. 20 minute drive to seaham which is why we were staying there.

It's 2 star basic but clean , cheaper than premier inns , didn't go yo the bar or restaurant . Its in the middle of an industrial estate beside the a1 no traffic noise just nowhere else for food . This is pet friendly so watch out for poo bags and turds on the grass
