Dreadful service?
On 20/08/24 I booked my flu jab at boot?s pharmacy concord for 07/10/24 @ 9am.
Today 05/10/24 I?ve received an email saying (Thank you for amending your appointment with Boots. Your new appointment details are below:)
I didn?t amend my appointment? the email should have said?
Sorry we are unable to see you on 07/10/24 as we have no pharmacist that day. We?ve moved your appointment to? if this is inconvenient please amend?
Your poorly worded email panicked me into thinking I?d been hacked again?
Email came in at 8:44? it took me ringing constantly until 11am to get through?

Waited 20 mins just to be seen to pick up a ready prescription when all the staff in the shop are congregated around the pharmacist coner really bad customer service.

My nominated pharmacy was Boots however I've had to change due to the rudeness of one particular woman who works there. I'd come in to pick up my prescription. The woman in question picked two bags out of the drawers which puzzled me as I had only ordered one. I explained to her that I didn't order all these to which she spoke down at me like I was something on the bottom of her shoe. The way she looked at me like I was stupid was horrendous. She made me feel like the entire mishap was my fault, rolling her eyes when I tried to explain it to her. The attitude was totally uncalled for when it was clearly a mistake at my GPs end. Not only that, but the phone rang and rang for a good 30 seconds and when it stopped, another woman working there said "oops, what a shame, missed the call". It's just such an unprofessional place considering they deal with things quite personal to people.

The layout of the shop is not customer friendly and the queuing system is a shambles. Won't be using this branch again.

Louise is totally professional and has a lovely manner about her. She always has a smile on her face unlike most of the other staff. Louise is helpful and informative so I will be going to boots in Concord more often. Thanks Louise ? McQuade
