It's an Aldi. Better than some Aldis. Newer, bigger and with a greater range of stuff. One of the Aldi with the other layout with the sweets and chocolate near the bread and cakes, where if you go to the other layout more regularly it throws you off your shopping route.

Staff are normally helpful & friendly but today (26.2.25) the most rude cashier I've had the misfortune of encountering ,gray haired man refused to serve customers who had baskets or food in their hands,saying checkout was for trollies only,is this a new rule or this jumped up jobsworth rule as only last week I got served at checkout with 3 items in my hands,had to wait in long queue at self service which I despise anyway,shouldn't be told we can only use checkout if we've only got trollies,pity there wasn't more cashiers on,will know in future not to go to his till ?
