Love the place, has a good atmosphere and great ales at great prices !Parking: Big carpark at the back of the pub. However, be careful as you are only allowed a 2 hour stay. Stay beyond this and you will receive a fine.

This Spoons is one big room with plenty of tables, a couple of nooks and an outside area. Always pretty busy. This time we ordered a couple of bowls of chips with the kids, and I had a pint. Beer tastes good. Chips were hot. Can't complain.

Very busy venue, never seen it empty. Prices are cheap and cheerful. Food is what you get for the price. It's local and handy!Parking: Available at the rear of the building.

Excellent....You can play a game with your friends on which part of your breakfast is going to be cold today...Or you can watch screaming brats climb over the tables and run around because their parents haven't got two braincells to rub together but happen to know what other things rub together to reproduce...Shame there are no dogs allowed...Should be no kids allowed and they should let dogs in so I don't have to watch my taxes feed them ;)

Overpriced freezer food. I had a chicken burger, burger was fine but you can tell the chips are cooked in a dirty fryer. Get the oil changed, talk about cutting costs and raising prices...

Lovely Art Deco former cinema. Helpful staff. Extremely good value for money. Car park. Good choices for veggiesVegetarian options: Veggie breakfast was very large and good value. The sausages could be better. Richmonds make the best.Dietary restrictions: Menu clear re ingredientsParking: 2 hour limit. Free.Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu

While I love this pub and have been a loyal customer since it opened, I must reluctantly give it 1 star as I won't be returning due to the dreadful practices of its car park company, "Smart Parking".Parking: My grandmother has been coming here since the 40s when it was a theatre. She's now 87 and suffers from mobility issues and Alzheimer's. I decided to bring her here and to the Forum a few months back after she was released from Covid isolation in her care home. But apparently, I overstayed 16 minutes. Warranting a fine of £60. I parked directly in front of the pub in the disabled spaces, but there are no signs visible from the back of The Ritz that warn of the 2 hour parking limit.I appealed this fine, my argument being that I didn't know of any time limit, having used this car park for the better part of a decade. In my appeal to the Ombudsman Service (POPLA), Smart Parking lied, providing incorrect information stating that there is a tariff sign present just outside of the pub. According to Street View, that sign hasn't been there for at least 3 years. This further appeal was rejected and I was forced to pay the increased rate of £100 for attempting to defend myself.Until Wetherspoons disassociate with such a scummy company, I won't be returning and I'm sure more and more loyal paying customers will join me as their perception of this fine establishment is ruined by these predatory business practices.

Food was decent, as it usually is at a spoons. Issue was with the staff, not one smile the whole time I was there, any interactions they seemed extremely depressed. I saw 2 staff members, 1 being a manager who was even more depressed than the girl on the bar. Monotone voice, looking like I?d just told him someone has
