Food is awful plain and simply and the operate under another company also called delicious bite so if anyone orders from that company just know it will come from Fridays.

It may seem petty to some but for me a chippy tea has to have lots of batter or else I don?t really enjoy it so when I called here & placed my order I emphasised on the lots of batter & even said would you make sure it has. The girl agreed. On collecting the order I asked again & was told it had. Got home & there was a sprinkle on soggy white chips at which point the dog enjoyed. I called to advise my disappointment & said if you had told the truth I would?ve waited til you cooked more & felt like I?d been lied to as they had my money. She became confrontational so I hung up. It?s not about the money spent as I also ordered other items which were ok it?s about the service & order being fulfilled to what?s requested. 1st time here & last. Will return to Gills just around the corner.

Chips under cooked and the gravy was like paste it fell out of the container in a lump. , only thing ready was one sausage and chips. Definitely not going back

I ordered the meal for me as a disabled OAP it said at start it was a delivery upon paying it changed to collect which as a disabled OAP and Wallsend is across the River Tyne I had to cancel order then I was informed money would not be returned. Surely robbery.

Food was ordered for 10pm and it was delivered at 8pm, the delivery driver was pleasant and kindly took it back to shop and said he would redeliver it at 10pm as requested. Food came on time for 10pm however they must have put our cod bites in the warmer from 8pm to 10pm as they were awful dried up and chewy, will not order from here again very disappointed

Had a small kebab wrap and it was unreal, chilli sauce is the best I?ve had and so was the garlic! The chips were lush too. Had stuff from here once before and it?s never failed.

Needs to learn how to make proper batter, and learn how to put cheese into stuff crust pizzas... This shop used to sell perfect fish n chips... They are now disgusting!

First time customer, probably my last aswell. I only ordered from here because Willow doesn't deliver and I regret my laziness! I ordered a Cowboy meal, and it must be named that because a bunch of cowboys are cooking it. Burger was cheap/nasty with soggy batter, no crisp or even colour to even a 10 year old asked me if it was cooked. Don't worry the dog enjoyed it. I would give the benefit of the doubt and say the grease from the burger made it greasy but this was not the case. I also had 2 battered sausages equally as soggy/colourless. I mean if you're struggling to catch the basics of battered food, I'd rethink your business plan. Chips were fine, food was hot, that was your saving grace from making the review a 2 and not a 1

Used to go here on me lunch break when I worked in Wallsend, thought it was canny and never had a problem. Even when I got a small portion I seemed to get a load of chip!

Had two bad experiences here lately just don't seem to pay attention to what your asking for even daft things like would you like batter on your chips yes and you don't get it sick of it not same as it use to be
