This bank is a total joke. AVOID.
They shut my personal account and my business account without giving any reason whatsoever and caused me no-end of trouble and embarrasment and financial problems.
THEY then have the absolute cheek to say that I owe them money after they disabled me mentally, physically and practically.

Absolutely appalling customer support literally provided all my documents to open a Santander student edge account from my Barclays one provided all the documentation on time and schedule rate on the 7th of January candid everything on my behalf later I do not get any response or anything about it I called them back and they just answer that you need to visit a branch and when I meet the branch and give the document they are saying that I'm in a waiting period it's been over 2 months by now since I have applied in December this is ridiculous absolutely appalling customer support you need to improve your customer support because this is completely unacceptable and inadequate

Have used them to order stuff from Amazon for 12 years or so without any problems. Weeks ago I discovered that I cannot order now because the bank has done a "security check," so I am unable to place anymore orders. Am going round in circles with such bloody nonsense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long story short I am about to find another bank-why should I have to go through all of this nonsense? I am an OAP.

Poor service from Santander Sunderland attempted to withdraw cash as over the ATM limit however they weren?t able to help as they had no counter staff and haven?t for 9 weeks therefore I had no other option to get my own cash!! Come on Santander your better than this!!

Absolutely terrible service! There counter service has been down now for 2 weeks so I can't put cash into my account and have reached the limit using the machine of putting cash in and was told to go to the branch in Washington or Newcastle! Why the hell do I have to go miles away to put money into my account! The woman was rude and really unhelpful and wonder if I don't have the money in to cover bills will Santander be that understanding!

We went in to sort out some online banking anomalies. We were seen by Leslie who was very personable and took the time to go through everything thoroughly and sorted it all out. Excellent customer service on a busy Saturday morning. Thanks. 5*.

Shocking customer service. Staff unhelpful, unfriendly and unprofessional.Wasted over half an hour of my time.Call me old fashioned but I thought you'd be able to open a bank account by going into the bank!Girl on the front desk not even in uniform, looking like she'd just rolled in from a night out.Kept telling me to "apply online", even though I chose to apply in branch and had all my documents with me (basically she couldn't be bothered).Walked out in the end, why would anyone trust these clowns with their money?

Attempts to look at online bank statements is a total loss, many many attempts to get into my account results in failure. Threatened in the past to move accounts to a different bankthink now is the time to do it. Bye Bye Santandar
