Went at around 12pm, worst customer service I have ever encountered. Girl at the till was huffing puffing and rolling her eyes while complaining to her colleague infront of me at the simple return I was trying to make. She was also clueless to what she was doing. Just handed me my receipt and a pen without telling me to sign and didn?t make it clear that the transaction was finished. Overall the customer service is disgusting I wouldn?t recommend going here ..

Shopped today at H&M sunderland, used the fitting room to try all the clothes for the holiday, came out with lots of hangers and clothes which i was going to take all apart from 3 of them, the customer service i received from this girl wearing black blonde ish brown horrible no ? Hi, which ones are you taking, nothing? just a plain ? can you put the hangers back on the clothes? with a massive attitude repeated twice as well. I think most staff forget they are there to not just get paid but to make the experience customer service experience better. Don't recommend at all.

Had an unpleasant encounter with the staff at the H&M shop in the Bridges mall.
When I went to pick up the dress I ordered online there, I asked if I could return the dress as I realised the dress was too big for me.
Instead of processing a refund, I was told by staff that they?ll return it for me and went on to serve the next customer.
She did not scan the bar code on the H&M app used to return any items, nor did she provide any proof of processing a return.
Then I went to a different member of staff and asked if I could get my refund processed today since the other employee kept my dress and told me to wait for a refund.
However, the second employee said I?ll get an instant email as they process return at the store instantly. When I told her I did not receive an email, I was told that ?that?s because you didn?t have any connection,? despite the fact that I had 4G on my phone and was able to load the app for her to see.
I then went out of the store to check and knew I had perfect connection, so there is no reason this email should not have been received.
When I went back to the store, I was served by a different employee who confirmed a return was never processed despite what I was told earlier. She then went on to scan the bar code on my app and showed me proof of return on her work device.
It took finding 3 employees for H&M to process my refund. It felt like the other two employees were brushing off my enquiry.
Unfortunately because of this, I will no longer be ordering collection at the store in Sunderland and will minimise shopping with H&M if this is how they?ve been trained to deal with customers.
