Called in for my monthly prescription only to be given (yet again) less than half of my prescribed medication with no dialogue or discussion over the missing medication. I returned to request the missing meds and was left standing in the shop (again with no explanation as to what was happening/how long I was to stand). Eventually, the pharmacist handed over the missing meds without any explanation as to why this had happened (again) and as she walked away she muttered ?you can always go somewhere else?. I asked her to repeat her mutterings and she said ?you can always go somewhere else?. This is my local pharmacy and as such, I am reluctant to go elsewhere, however, as this is a regular occurrence (missing meds) and a disgusting level of professionalism and customer service from the pharmacist and the staff I will be moving elsewhere. I would not advise anyone to use this pharmacy, particularly if you are vulnerable or have any communication issues.ADDENDUM:Since leaving the above review I have been contacted via messenger and telephone by the owner of the pharmacy. The owner apologised profusely for the avoidable and unacceptable way I had been treated and spoken to whilst in the pharmacy, he also explained how it was a locum (temporary/stand in) Pharmacist who had stated "you can always go somewhere else" and not a regular staff member of his team.He also asked if I would be willing to continue with Herdmans as my nominated pharmacy for prescription and medication collection. Unfortunately however, I had already acted upon the locum Pharmacists' advice and changed my nominated pharmacy (as directed).Finally, I would like to say how I found it refreshing to encounter such a swift response with offers of achieving an amicable way forward following my negative review and treatment and it is a shame I followed the direction given to me by the locum Pharmacist as Herdmans Pharmacy is local to me. Perhaps if the locum had been as courteous as the representatives of Herdmans I've spoken to since the incident I would still be using their facility.Thank you Herdmans for your swift response and for taking the time to explain the background detail.

The staff are lovely, really helpful and friendly, get my prescription delivered weekly with no problems drivers are good as well ?

Prices are worst in Sunderland as they have been doubled again and again.A box of 10 of their own brand of Imodium was £1.00 then £2.00 & last week I was speechless when told they were now £4.00????The "cost of living" excuse is being massively manipulated even in the medicine sector. I think it's absolutely disgraceful & disgusting. These Greedy people should be ashamed of themselves! I will never give them my business again?

I was very impressed by the quick professional and friendly service.
The staff took their time to answer all my questions. I will use Herdman Chemists for all my future medical/prescription requirements in the future.
