Argumentative customer service agent. Insisting on mobile banking. Mobile banking is an option not mandatory, customers do not have to explain why they do not want it and will not get it no matter their age.

I?ve been a Halifax customer for over 10 years and even had my mortgage with them, but today I received the worst service I?ve ever experienced. I visited the Sunderland branch around 11 am to deposit money. After waiting in the counter queue for about 10 minutes, the lady at the counter refused to serve me and told me to use the self-service machines ? both of which were jammed and unusable. When I explained this, her response was, ?Not really! Try self-service machines,? in a rude and dismissive tone. Completely unhelpful and unwelcoming. Very disappointed with how loyal customers are treated.

I wanted to change coins into money but had to contact head office as it says they only accept £10 a time but I can?t come into branch several days running as I have a heart problem but the lady from head office tried to phone local branch but no one was answering the phone so she sent them a email asking them to call me but spent all afternoon waiting for a phone call but no one yet and it?s time for branch to shut so bad customer service.

Absolutely the worst bank ever. Staff so slow you may as well take a good hour of your day out for banking here. Take a book to read or your airpods because waiting at least an hour is guaranteed with a rude cashier waiting for you after your wait.The manager Katie is a disgrace with no customer service skills and couldn't care less.

Poor customer service. You end up waiting ages to get served. One member of staff - who is no longer there fortunately - thought she was a comedian and used to say very rude things to me. Place is better without her, but that is not saying much.

The reviews just say it all, horrendous costumer service RUDE RUDE RUDE advisors, the worst costumer service I have received in Years. So bad that I better travel and visit the Newcastle branch than having to deal with the xenophobia at this facility.
