After waiting for about 6 months for an appointment to have a cortisone injection for arthritis in my ankles, I was told that they don't like giving then because they are not a long term fix. I told them that as I was 75 so it probably wasn't a problem as I would be dead soon. They said they would refer me to see if I could have inserts fitted in my shoes to help .so that would be another 6 months wait. And I was told that they might just refer me back to the muscolotal clinic WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME . At the most I sleep for 1 to 2 hours before giving up an getting out of bed to put more ibuprofen 10% cream on my ankles for the painCRIPPLED AND TIRED,

Perfect as all nhs centres are, if you complain about health care in this country try turkey and see how bad it is and the cost. NHS IS CLASS ONLY DOWN SIDE IS JUNKIES NO SECURITY.
