Unfortunately we had a really frustrating experience here. After purchasing a clearance sofa, we were told it was going to take a week to get delivered to us (due to it being clearance and faster than the usual time frame). Unfortunately it took 3+ weeks to finally get to us which meant we had no sofa for 2 weeks in our new house - considering i?m pregnant as well it was extremely uncomfortable! We would have purchased a different sofa with a definite time frame if we had known.
After us having to chase and call multiple times due to either having no delivery update, date or acknowledgement - we had to find out that it never even left the Store to go to our nearest warehouse a whole 2 weeks after we bought it. Makes us think if we weren?t chasing that whole time it would still be there now! We then had to further chase once it was at our local warehouse to even get an estimated delivery date. Absolutely awful communication and process.

I really want to thank the amazing team at DFS Sunderland! They helped us purchase our new sofa. Lee who we started our journey with, was absolutely fantastic! full of knowledge and wisdom on sofas and what is best for a family with small children. He made our difficult decision easy. Lynsey helped us finalise our purchase and was so accommodating, great at what she does. Finally a big thank you to Atiq who made us feel welcomed and at home! From giving us drinks to keeping the kids entertained. Really couldn?t have asked for better individuals! Great team Sunderland branch!

I bought a settee and 2 armchairs 10 month ago the settee is all peeling when they come to look at it he said it's probably off your head being hot I said what about the sides and seat he didn't no what to say what a joke I had my last suiite 10 year not a thing happened to it mind I didn't get that at dfs and never would I buy anything else from them !!

Went in to view 1 sofa that we liked in a previous store. We ending up buying a completely different sofa that we saw in store. Due to the size of this shop, they have way more sofas than other DFS stores I have been in. When making a purchase of over 1.5k for a sofa, being able to see it/test it in store is a must. Staff were great.

Was really impressed we weren't hounded around the showroom plenty of staff in there this morning and after then going to SCS to be told no orders now being delivered before Xmas think we will be back at DFS this week to order

Buying a sofa was a good experience. DFS do it very well. Great choice, with credit agreements to help spread the pain. The young lad that helped us was first class, and at no point put any pressure on us. I wish him well for the future. Thank you
