Great experience in this CeX today, I had an issue with my Wii and it was promptly rectified with no worries. staff here are fantastic and I suggest this CeX for all your electronic needs. much better than the one in Washington

Used electronics and gaming... for nearly brand new price or brand new price all items. They buy your used console, but when you can sell your items normaly 1000gpb, here they buy from you for 10gpb. And later they sell for 1000gpb. Lol. No money back or garanty for your item when you bought here and these items got faults. You can get back when you like lose your money, or for littlebit mutch price vouncher. But still you lose your money with vouncher too. Sadly, this one is the only store in the uk for these.

Can't praise the young people enough who work in this shop, bought my son a phone, he didn't like it, they let me exchange it for another two days later, fantastic customer service from a young man with long dark hair tied back, impeccable manners he has, a,credit to his parents and yo himself, the young man, with short hair and a little,facial hair which sold me the original also had impeccable manners, keep up the good work all of you, the team at cex Sunderland, I won't hesitate to return when we need would like to purchase something else

Leaving one star so I can leave a review. Visited today with my Brother. Spotted two Homeland box sets my Boyfriend asked me to look out for. When I was getting served I made small talk with the assistant saying I was thrilled as my Boyfriend was looking for them. The assistant scoffed at me and did 'air quotes' "Oh yes that's right you are buying them for your 'boyfriend'" said in a mocking tone laughing at me and encouraging the other male members of staff and customers at the counter to join in. The assistant continued, "You just feel guilty about watching the show." Why would I feel guilty about watching Homeland is beyond me.
Shoved the DVDs at me looking at his friends to join in with the mocking. Felt angry and humiliated. Will be complaining to the head office.
Nothing but judgement, misogyny and assumptions. Then attempting a pile on of abuse. Would not recommend. Ladies if you want anything, get a guy to go and get it for you. Felt very unsafe.

5 stars for service. Very positive manners and very informative. The lad with the nose piercing on saturday was answering all my questions and was assuring me all my problems i do have. They can fix as long it isnt software problem!

Currently 2 stars, and the reason for the two instead of the 1 is the instore service. On Saturday (close to business end on Tuesday) I left an X Box one X to be tested. I was told that it would be later tested. I explained I wouldn't be able to wait around town and I could come back in a day or two. They explained no need, they will test it and confirm via email if it meets there grade, or by phone if it doesn't. They've had all day Sunday, Monday and now Tuesday. Zero contact from store. No store telephone number on receipt. You call the online number, and that refers you to X or Facebook (I messaged through X 24 hours ago, no response). Seriously losing trust and faith.
I'm increasing from 2 to 4 stars, and not because of your reply. FYI, still no response via my DM on X, which your telephone number suggests that I use.
So the update is this, when I went back to the store on Wednesday to find out what is happening, I was immediately apologised to, and it turns out the store hadn't used my account I have with them, but set me up an online account. But, the gentleman who initially served me, didn't save my email address or telephone number, so the store lost all of my contact details.
This happens to be the only issue I've ever had with the store in Sunderland
