Came to this shop with my boyfriend to get a few presents for Christmas, and upon arrival we were immediately followed by a security guard and a young blonde lady (another member of staff) pretending to stock shelves, whilst also staring at us and walking past us any chance she got. We noticed this from the start but chose to ignore it as we thought well it?s almost Christmas, of course there?s going to be extra security around. Then it kept on happening, to the point where we actually left the shop without even buying anything we wanted because we felt so discriminated against. When we left the shop, we then seen that same member of staff and security guard checking over the stock of makeup I was stood having a look at!! Absolutely unbelievable!! And from previous comments I?ve heard I?d totally avoid this place, rude staff is an understatement.

The little cashier with the beard is a very rude man. He made personal comments to the lady in front of us, and then refused to sell painkillers to my wife because we had "asked for them too often". We had, in fact, arrived in Sunderland earlier that day for the first time and never been in the shop! Fortunately, the lady he had insulted told us there is another chemist in the precinct, and they were only too happy to help.

My Husband booked a hearing test for Friday 12th January. We were met by a young man called Joe Brown. Joe made us both feel so welcome he explained fully about the procedure. Joe could not have done anymore to help my husband. He went above and beyond to assist us. Such a gentleman Thank you so much Boots are blessed to have you on their team.
