Angelos is the best Italian restaurant in sunderland. The food is traditional and authentic, and the service is amazing. Very welcoming and accommodating. The design of the restaurant is beautiful. Simply one of the best.

Celebrated my Son's 18th birthday at Angelos yesterday with bottomless brunch. We chose the unlimited pizza option, 2 pizzas were brought out each time for 4 of us to share, with a wide variety of choices, they were all delicious!
Drinks came as soon as you'd finished one and included wine (full bottles!!), spirits, beer and cocktails!
The staff were so friendly, helpful and funny. We all had a fab night and will definitely return! Well worth the money for the bottomless brunch! The best one I've had.

Realy fancied going here for a long while as it looks and smells good from outside. Finally got the time to go but was realy disappointed. We were a couple but we're sat right next to a around 10 rowdy women celebrating a birthday ad realy loud.The service was rushed no real conversation from the waiter but the food when it came was realy poor.Wont be going back. ?

So on 15th June
We had our football presentation
We ordered off angelio?s buffet menu
And have to say the food was amazing
Portion sizes were massive
2x spaghetti bolognaise
4 margarita pizzas
4 Kiev pizzas
2 garlic bread
2 chips
It fed about 60+ people
And still had loads left over
Very friendly service
And to top it off it was only
£291 delivered to our venue

We really need to do this more often
We went to Angelos for a bottomless brunch
The staff we lovely
They kept us supplied with drink and the food was great
They even entertained us with a shot game at the end

Absolutely amazing! I hired Angelos to do the catering for my engagement and I cannot fault them. I was a massively awkward customer with loads of requests and questions and they were responsive and helpful! Nothing was too much for them and they really went above and beyond, i didn?t have to worry about anything on the night everything was taken care of. The even covered dietary requirements such as gluten free and vegetarian. The food was absolutely beautiful, so many of our guests made a point of complimenting the food and I think it was one of the highlights of the night.I highly highly recommend, such amazing service and food. Thank you again

Went with couple friends for birthday, no atmosphere as there was no one else in the restaurant. Had Sea Bass which was really nice but cooked in tomato sauce which was just like juice from tin of tomatoes and roast potatoes soggy in the juice. Would not

Was home over xmas and went with Mam to their Italian lesson. It was absolutely amazing, Fred and Cristina are the most lovely people ever! The food is tremendous, you have to try the tomato soup and penne arrabbiata.

Me and my partner have been here a couple of times for the bottomless pizza brunch and on both times it was absolutely amazing. Staff are soo friendly and will do anything to make sure everything is perfect for you! If you want to eat until you?re ready to burst and drink till you forget this is definitely somewhere to visit.

Have tried visiting Angelo?s a couple of times but never lucky enough to get a table?until last night! It was worth the wait. I had the gnocchi?simply the best pasta dish I?ve had since I?ve moved here. My partner had the inferno pizza. Beautiful crust and the base sauce was authentic and perfect!! The service was warm and friendly, and the decor cozy. We?ll definitely be back!! Tip: book a table in advance!
