“Ordered a new strip for grandson last week to then receive an email from the club he attends to say that not only had club changed strip but also changed supplier! Went into Bolams today and staff were very understanding and refunded me what I had paid. They had not been informed that kit had changed or that they were no longer the supplier so were obviously quite annoyed with the club. I could not fault them and will definitely return to buy any other sports clothing my grandson needs. Well done Bolams on a very professional service and thank you.”

I came in on Saturday 15th June at about 15.30 and was greeted by a young man in a white t-shirt at the top of the stairs. He complimented a tattoo on my leg and we had a great chat - he was friendly and helpful and brilliant at building rapport with me. He helped me find the item I was looking for and I went to pay. At the counter I had another great interaction with a young lady with multicoloured hair. She asked if I'd found everything alright and showed me to the fitting room so I could check the size. As the counter was in the Game concession, I asked about a video game system which wasn't even in stock and she took time to understand my interest and share her knowledge of the product and retro gaming in general.
This was an exemplary customer service experience. Both colleagues proactively engaged me, they asked questions to understand how they could help me, and they brought a bit of craic to build rapport. Please extend my thanks to them for making my visit worthwhile and fun!”
