Absolutely terrible (online) the amount of trouble I?ve had trying to buy infant size 7.5 shoes is disgusting. I ordered 8C as it says on the size guide online that an 8C is a 7.5 in infant , I then recived 9.5 infant shoes in an 8c box , I was told of customer service team online that in order to receive a 7.5 I need to order a 7c and that the size guide is wrong , why is the size guide even on the website then I now have had to buy another pair of shoes whilst I wait up to 24 hours for a return label. And then have to walk a half an hour walk there half an hour walk back to return the shoes I?ve paid for due to the size guide issue. Recived terrible customer service online was told two totally different things and was cut off by 2 people before I?d even finished asking questions now left very confused and very angry as this took over an hour to resolve, as soon as I asked to put a compliant in I was cut off

Shocking, 2 days after purchasing item I returned to the store to requrst a refund. However, I was informed they do not issue refunds even with a receipt. This is a breach of consumer rights. Additionally after speaking to the very dim witted manager who was most argumentative,as if it was a personal complaint against her, I walked out of the shop.

Five stars for exceptional customer service.
I came in on Saturday 15th June at about 15.30 and was greeted by a young man in a white t-shirt at the top of the stairs. He complimented a tattoo on my leg and we had a great chat - he was friendly and helpful and brilliant at building rapport with me. He helped me find the item I was looking for and I went to pay. At the counter I had another great interaction with a young lady with multicoloured hair. She asked if I'd found everything alright and showed me to the fitting room so I could check the size. As the counter was in the Game concession, I asked about a video game system which wasn't even in stock and she took time to understand my interest and share her knowledge of the product and retro gaming in general.
This was an exemplary customer service experience. Both colleagues proactively engaged me, they asked questions to understand how they could help me, and they brought a bit of craic to build rapport. Please extend my thanks to them for making my visit worthwhile and fun!

Beware when buying from here, as they refuse to refund purchases and will only allow credit notes to be used in store. This is when something was bought in error and tried to return the same day with receipt. We will never shop at sports direct again, in store or online.

Disgusting in human experience as I went on Saturday to shop for my little kid and we were shopping and my daughter was sitting just right next to me and there was like a customer assistant(CA) who approached my 7yo kid and snatched a toy which my kid was looking there and said you cannot be stealing in the store while my child was standing right next to me and when I Approached the customer assistant regarding that she said" well she is looking like stealing in our point of view" and I said no she is not and she shouldn't be talking to the child like that CA said yes I can and when I said don't walk away from me she walked away saying yes I can. that was disgusting! I asked for the manager to speak to so they kept me waiting for 35 minutes but no show from the customer assistance or the manager of the store and it according to them he was busy taking interviews on Saturday and nobody came to talk although every single one of them were watching this disgusting happening my child was horrified.

Absolutely shocking customer service NO refund policy is a joke! It?s they?re policy it?s not law.Went to a different store. Guess what got my refund. Would never recommend buying in South Shields store.
