Your roof mesh and razor wire injures and maims and no doubt kills our beautiful sea birds. Cruel. If you can't cope with sea birds in a seaside town go move your shop elsewhere. 2 fire engines had to come out because of your roof. Should be ashamed of yourselves. I appeal for anyone who values lives to not shop here.

The customer service in the South Shields store is absolutely pathetic, Most of the staff look sick of there lives in the shop. Can't crack a smile. Got turned away from making a return today because I had misplaced the receipt, Went straight to the store in Washington and got the credit on a gift card!! absolute jokers. This has happened on numerous occasions over the years. Worst customer experience ever!!!

Love River Island. This review is the South Shields store specific purely due to the size of the store, (staff are great).As I said, purely due to the size of the shop they have no optiom but to limit the range of stock they sell.If like me who much prefers to shop in store from the real thing on the rail, as opposed to pictures on a screen, I would suggest a trip to the Intu Eldon Square or Metrocentre River Island if you can.
