“Today 1st Feb 2024 I visited South Shields golf club with 17 other lads in our golf society . The day started with Steve, the manager, calling me at home to to advise that the course was open and he was checking that everything was going to plan at my end, ie. something that has never previously happened to me when organising a golf day for the society.On arrival at the Club and having previously ordered food we each received a bacon /or sausage buttie with coffee or tea. These butties were fantastic, (door stops), well cooked & sufficient to keep an adult going for the day .The staff serving the food were great , very pleasant and cheerful.Dan in the pro shop was very obliging and very helpful .The course was in brilliant condition for the time of year and one we will definitely be returning to.This has already been voted a "big hit" with all our members and it is our intention to returnAgain, many thanks to all the staffregardsDave Johnson”
