The shop has a very good variety of goods for a corner shop, particularly their wines and spirits.More importantly, the staff whom I have met are absolutely lovely, helpful, friendly and professional. Also the shop Is great for daily essentials and a few special extras which can’t be found in your local corner shop; Plus for being in such a run down area we are somewhat blessed.
I now personally feel though since the new self service tills have been put in place this has lowered security not just for the shop but the wonderful staff. The access for any scoundrel to just jump over the counter and help themselves to things has increased dramatically, also it has made the staff more vulnerable to attack with the low open service area. I suggest you reconsider your decision and install the original tills or some sort of non invasive protection screen. Regards Andrew”
