Lovely village cafe. Dog friendly and close to The Willows. Great place to eat and drink after a windy dog walk

Visited number 6 many times over the years for sit in and takeaways and never fails to impress.
The menu is very good with all day breakfast choices and nice small lunch choices too. There are options for gluten free and vegan if needed.
Always a lovely choice of locally made cakes. I'm not a coffee drinker but my daughter was impressed with hers.

I have been to No.6 a few times and the service is brilliant, the coffee is top tier, and the food is delicious.

Lovely place. Some interesting options on the menu (eg whipped goats cheese with grilled peaches and prosciutto on sourdough) and helpful staff who were able to supply info on dietary requirements.

Tasty, reasonably priced food and drinks with some vegan options. Staff member really friendly and kind to my 3-year-old.

Unreal coffee.
Pastry/sweet selection changes regularly which I think is brilliant, options are always amazing. Cinnamon swirl was out of this world.
Ham and cheese sourdough toastie the best toasted sandwich I?ve ever had.
Super friendly service and dog friendly too.
Highly recommend!

Gorgeous food (particularly the pistachio cream and raspberry pancakes!) and great coffee. Dog friendly too which is the cherry on top for us.
Would definitely recommend.

A hidden gem in the heart of Old Ryton Village. Some of the best coffee in the area, and great sweet treats too. The toasties and seasonal soups are divine! All staff are super friendly and lovely people. Reasonably priced and well worth a visit.

Decided to give this place a try after coming across their Instagram page and seeing that they had gluten-free sourdough available. My mum is a coeliac and it?s quite difficult to find local cafés that provide gf bread. Pleased to say she was very happy with her cheese & ham toastie. She even had a slice of victoria sponge cake which was gf & df! My cheese & onion jam toastie was delicious too!
The quality of the food was fab, the coffees were great, quick and friendly service and overall a lovely atmosphere. Defo recommend and will be back again!

Fabulous! Delicious gluten free cake and gluten free sourdough toastie. Lovely little place and it?s dog friendly. Lots of lovely cake choices and a super cosy & welcoming atmosphere. The coffee is outstanding too. It was easy to park kerbside on the quiet street outside. Highly recommended!
