Seems from reading reviews this pharmacy has not improved in their delivery of medication. They failed to deliver my mother's medication. They did not monitor the situation and allowed a gap in the delivery which led to my mother dying. It is sad to see the standards have not improved at this pharmacy and seems that if you use it you put your loved ones into a risky situation. They know my mother died and yet they have not taken that as a reason to make sure they improve to a professional level in their service as other comments in the reviews indicate. They seem to be getting away with their shoddy standards, but this can be dealt with legally and I think it is about time something on that level is done.

Went in for a flue shot and prescription for both was out in 20 mins. Fast and efficient.

The staff are very helpful in my experience. I do get the impression they're 'short staffed' on occasions as getting through on the phone is often a challenge but generally the staff are very efficient, friendly and often go 'above and beyond'. Highly recommended.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would.Today I went to pick up my step-dad?s prescription when I was told that it was not at the store. I had called his doctors on the Thursday (It?s now Monday) to make sure that It was going to be there for me to collect, the woman in the shop couldn?t have been anymore unhelpful and ushered me out of the shop. I then rang again (on the Monday) and confirmed the order. I went back to the shop and on the phone with my mam and when I went outside to tell her that the woman behind the counter was screaming at me because I the prescription was still not there. I walked back in and the woman shouted at me yet again saying I was being rude and I had no need to phone my mam telling her that I was screamed at. Yet again I am home with no prescription. WORSE PLACE EVER.

Great and fast service. Due to recent changes in pharmacies the area they have adapted well to the demand and always have my prescription ready quickly and are always willing to give me advice when needed. Very helpful group of girls!!!

Boots Ryton has been absolutely brilliant with my daughters prescriptions in the past, but recently they went above and beyond. I was about to run out of her regular medication and the doctors were supposed to be doing an emergency script for her, this took me ringing 3 days on a row before the weekend to chase and they still had not sent it. Boots Ryton were brilliant at communicating with me, happy to order the specific dose bottle in advance, and try to speed the process up however they could. If it was not for boots Ryton I would not have had my daughters medication in time for the bottle running out before weekend, I?m very grateful!!

Never have I had to deal with a bunch of incompetent individuals who clearly have no clue how to do there job! Also if it?s so hard to be nice to a customer, or help said customer with there new born child?s prescription without being rude and ignorant they need to look into changing jobs! YES CAROL THATS MEANS YOU!!!!

Can be very slow, regarding prescriptions they have had in there possession for a couple of days, hours after checking they have the prescription the prescription was still not attended to and had to wait a few minutes for it to be sorted. Could be so more efficient in my experience.

This place is absolutely shocking. If I could give zero stars I would.So disorganised and blatant liars about my prescription not being there...I rang doctors and it was definitely sent to the chemist and they tried saying they never sent it...so told them I had rang Dr's and it magically came through right then.Be prepared to wait days for prescriptions and get messed about. Will be switching my chemist, this place needs shut down
