Been a few times since finding out about it. Lovely staff, a cute little spot to sit in. Personally I love the decor!
As for the food, homemade goodness that never disappoints! A good mix of sweet and savoury, and some different choices every day so it keeps it interesting!
Went in today unsure what I felt like, saw the tray of 'Nut Crunch' which looked interesting, and it was a good choice! Thank you :)
Dietary restrictions: I believe they do cater for vegetarians or vegans in some of their things, but better of asking then directly!

Recommended to pay a visit to R Place whilst visiting the area and so glad we listened. The place is gorgeous and the atmosphere is so welcoming and friendly. Lovely coffee, hot chocolates, and the kids' doughnuts were very quickly eaten and given lots of compliments. They looked delicious.

A wonderful café ran by wonderful people.

First time I've had the time to sit in here. Had lots of their wonderful do'nuts, cake and brownies. I can now confirm it's a lovely place just to be in and that the hot chocolate and pastries are amazing.

I visited R Place on my way home to get a flavour of what it was looking to achieve and add to the shopping experience in North Shields. It was another breath of fresh air with a friendly and atmosphere, very well laid out and clean. The bakes looked tasty and homemade and of course the coffee was first class. I'm always doing what I can to help new and varied businesses start and develope in the North Shields area especially as so many of the older and more nationally established businesses have pulled out.

Amazing donuts, although I'm sure that they must lace them with crack because I'm totally addicted. The coffee is gorgeous too. I love the look of the place, the music is brilliant, the staff are lovely and polite. I can't wait till I can sit in here; listen to rock music and drink great coffee, all while eating incredible donuts and brownies!Update: the menu changes every month, the new sausage rolls they have added are superb. Still highly recommended
