A taste of Tyneside. Highly recommended for stotty cake, peach melba, custard donuts, meat and vegetable and cheese pasties. Coffee is cheap and cheerful and a total bargain. Eat in or takeaway. As despised by all Guardian readers.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yer can bool right in.

I come here every other day and the foods actually nice, my one little writhing squirm about this place is one particular younger worker behind the counter with Specs, who can?t help but glare n gawk me down as I stand patiently in the queue waiting to order

Bacon roll and cappuccino for £2.69? Wow that's good value. Ok the cappuccino isn't the best in the world but it's pretty good and what a bargain. Always happy to find an excuse for a sneaky morning snack at Gregg's.

With All Due RESPECT , to those who are reading this , Google didn't say what location this review is for . Most of the Gregg's that I have recently been to are great . Mostly friendly staff and mostly clean inside . The last 2 Gregg's that I went to last week were as follows , Gregg's in Primark and the other which was yesterday was located inside the Tesco in Kingston Park .
Both locations have a nice relaxing atmosphere and the staff , food and service are just great and need to be experienced by all who are reading this .
Gregg's in Primark in Newcastle Upon Tyne is located on the second floor towards the front and there is plenty of seating and if you are lucky enough , you can sit by the windows and watch the foot traffic going by on Northumberland Street unless you have a fear of heights .
Gregg's inside Tesco in Kingston Park is a nice addition to the supermarket and I might be wrong , but I be that there is less seating in this location ?
If you decide to go to this location , there is a big area where you are supposed to leave your Shopping Cart , Wagon, Trolley , Silver And Blue Machine and this area is designed for you to leave them there .
Don't worry your little head about someone walking off with your shopping because the security guards there are also watching it for you . So , there is no need for you to bring it inside with you and make it difficult for people to get past you .
There is an area where you get your napkins and stirrers from and there are 2 tables there ,
PLEASE leave those tables for customers that use Wheelchairs , Scooters and Walking Aids ? You should also keep in mind that when you are waiting to get served at the counter , you wait on your LEFT SIDE and NOT the Right side .
Great Food
Great Workers
Great Service
All equals Great Loyalty .
PLEASE be nice with the employees because you don't have no idea what they are going through .
In closing of my review of the Gregg's in Newcastle Upon Tyne and in Kingston Park , I hope to hear from you and give me your thoughts on either or both locations .
Thanks for your time reading this review and have a great day .

A northeast bakery that we all know and love, fast and efficient service but the parking is horrendous as the road is narrow and always crammed with cars
Parking: If you have low profile tyres and alloys watch out as some parking spaces you will need to drive up on to a kerb.

Very popular, a good selection. Can be disappointing if you like something and it either runs out or they stop selling it, example like steak & cheese roll they no longer sell.
